Can I view IQP pattern files on my computer?

You can view .iqp files on your computer with our free IQP viewer program
www.intelliquilter.com/converter/intelliqview.exe
This is a self-extracting file that installs the viewer in your computer. Windows may warn you that it is not safe because it does not recognize the file, but it is. You can ignore the warnings and proceed with the installation. The program uses Java, if you don't have it in your computer, it will be installed.

I saved it, installed it but it won't open to use it.  What now?

The installer is semi-broken because it tries to automatically download java but Oracle now requires a free oracle account just to download java, so the download fails 100% of the time.  It wasn't clear whether I needed the 32-bit or 64-bit version of the Java Runtime so I tried them both and found that only the 32-bit version works.

For anyone else trying to get this to work, you need to manually install the 32-bit version of the Java JRE, jre-6u45-windows-i586.exe or similar.  jre-6u45-windows-x64.exe, the 64-bit version, will not work.

I've installed the 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Java and the viewer continues to try to download Java and times out.

Is there an update on this?  A newer version of viewer?  Other options?  Will it work with Embird?
